PROFILE

Lyomoki Development Organisation (LYDO) is a registered National Non-Governmental Organisation operating on a not-for-profit basis in Uganda. Officially registered under URSB Reg No. 80034426294296, NGO Reg No.INDRI74357103NB, NGO Permit No.INDP0007103NB. LYDO is headquartered at Haruna Towers, Makerere Kubiri. The organisation is dedicated to fostering sustainable development across communities through holistic programming that addresses health, education, agriculture, and economic empowerment.

LYDO takes a community-centered approach in all its work — engaging local stakeholders, building capacity, and fostering partnerships that drive lasting social change. The organisation is guided by strong values of teamwork, integrity, transparency, and accountability in the delivery of its programs and services.

To uplift the lives of people in different communities by empowering them to participate in social and economic development initiatives.

1. To train and support young women, school dropouts and vulnerable students through vocational technical skills training.

2. To engage into health education and promotion.


3. To enhance agricultural education and promo0tion for modern farming.


4. To make grants and donations to orphans / children.


5. To promote gender equality and social inclusion.
